The Unofficial Start Of Summer Break

I don't know if I'll be manning a grill at a picnic like these folks in Georgia from 1939 (from the Library of Congress Farm Security Administration collection), but I will be taking an extended Memorial Day break next week.  I'll be back in June.

Air -Sub DX

Here is an obscure (to me anyway) comic about a craft that can fly and travel underwater.  The setting seems very Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon-ish, an apparent future version of Earth, but one in which such a craft is apparently still more advanced than other vehicles.  Posted on Four Color Shadows, this Air-Sub DX story comes from 1939.
