Patent Room is a site of patent drawings, mostly from the first half of the twentieth century. There are general collections of airplanes, architecture, cars, toys, trains, etc; and subcollections including gas stations, hood ornaments, ray guns, and Thomas Edison. Some of the designs made it into production, while others, like this "teardrop" automobile, remain the stuff of dreams.
