Hiding In Plain Sight

This article entitled "Fooling The Spy In The Sky," from the December 1942 issue of Popular Mechanics and posted on Modern Mechanix, described the latest do-it-yourself craze of the time:  camouflage research.  As the article explained, advances in military surveillance technology since World War I, particularly improved aerial reconnaissance, required new approaches to concealment.
