A Hopping Tank?

It appears that one of the ideas behind this one-legged, "hopping" tank was that it would make a difficult target for enemy fire. While that is logical, I cannot help but wonder about the accuracy of the gun crew within the tank considering its unusual locomotion. From Google Patents via Boing Boing.
