Here are some farmyard frolics from 1932 in a Hugh Harman-Rudolph Ising cartoon. After a lot of hen house gags, a chick escapes the pen with some artificial wings to get some food, allowing the opportunity for jazzy little song. From the Internet Archive, here is I Wish I Had Wings.
