Iowa Teenagers In 1947

This series of photographs posted on Retronaut has everything you would expect from teenagers in 1947:  bobby socks, saddle oxfords, jalopies, soda fountains, and yo-yos.  Frankly, I was a little surprised at the apparent popularity of yo-yos in the late 1940s.
