There are occasions when you wonder if technology actually went backwards.

article about a dentist in 1936 who projected movies on his ceilings to calm his patients. This was way before television, much less flat-screens and DVD players. Why do we not have this now? My dentist has a poster of some kittens on the ceiling over the chair.
